Branding & Signaletik: A red thread for the
Berliner Sparkasse
The Susanne Philippson office planned, designed and realized a wayfinding system for the headquarter of the Berliner Sparkasse in the Adlershof district of Berlin. My role in this project together with the team was the graphic design of the elements, the creation of the final artwork and the planning and coordination of the technical implementation. The main aim was to keep the corporate identity of the bank in mind and to shape it into the headquarter. The building itself is divided into two parts and is connected by bridges. It was therefore a great challenge to guide the employees through the building to their offices. In addition to floor indicators or labels for the rooms, many small special solutions such as small notices or signs for rescue routes were created. The highlight is the 7-meter red glass stele and an LED wall in the foyer of the building. From a distance, visitors are guided to the entrances with red beautiful steles on the outside.
